un-there is a twin pair of sculptures made from two identical flat, rectangular steel plates. One is bent at a sharp angle, the other arched into a simple even curve.

Seated on opposite sides of a lobby entrance, each sculpture rests on a mirrored base. A new geometry becomes visible as the structures reflect into the surface beneath them, one drawing a triangle, the other a full circle.

The instant an object merges with its own reflection becomes an invitation to turn the gaze inward. A window of perception opens, where the solid structure and its inner image form a unified whole. A new entirety is born the moment one catches sight of what lies beneath.
